Seasoned by Grace

The theme of our ladies meeting this year was
Seasoned by Grace
Our theme verse was 1 Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal
glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while,
make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
The Lord had been working in my heart for many
months about this year's theme. How that we
come to know the Lord in a much more personal way
when we've suffered, when we've been through the fire
with Him, when we've learned to totally depend on Him
to strengthen and settle us.
Every year, I wonder how the meeting is going
to turn out. It's been so good every year, ever since
we started. I always wonder if it's going to be
as good as the year before. And every year, without fail, it
turns out to be just as good.
Our guest speaker this year was Ms. Susan McGill.
We were so privileged to have her with us.
She also blessed with us with several songs.
And as always, several of our ladies perform
in a skit for the day.
This years skit was based on what
could have taken place in the lives of some Bible women.

Ms. Susan McGill did a wonderful job
speaking to us from her heart.
It was a blessing to all who attended.
Miss Barbara and Miss Faye did a fabulous
job with the food again this year.
We had a pasta bar with several different kinds
of pastas, meats, and two different sauces.
She also made all these cupcakes.
Tasty and lovely!

FBC HomeSchool Formal

Our Homeschool Academy decided to host a formal for our homeschoolers
this year. This was the first time we have ever done this. It was
so much fun and my only regret is just that I wish I would have
thought of it sooner. This would have been a fun activity
when we still had the campus school too.
Here are a few outside pics of Emily at home.
She just turned fourteen a few weeks ago.

This one is my favorite.

These were made in the fellowship hall at church.

This is Emily with a young man who
is in her Sunday School class and a fellow homeschooler.
They are JUST friends. lol
Brooklyn made a great hostess for the evening.
We are glad she is home from Pensacola now.
She graduated in May.
Brooklyn with Emily and Ryder
This one is my absolute favorite...Emily with her Daddy!

Isn't this one just the sweetest?
And her is a picture with some of the young ladies who are
approximately Emily's age.

And here are some random pics of
some of the older students.

Our ladies meeting was this past Saturday too!
I will post a few pics of that in a few days.
It was really great, as always.
