Bible Club

As a part of Youth Month, we had our first
Bible Club meeting. We are hoping to get
this going in a big way as an outreach to
the children in the community. We haven't got
all the kinks worked out but we're working on it.
We want to make it a club where they can earn
badges for christian character. So far, we had just
had our own church kids but we hope that it
will grow quickly as we get it going.
We plan to have the meetings every other
Thursday night. We are so excited about
this new effort.

That's a great outreach tool! And even if no neighborhood kids come, your church kids will love it. I use Patch the Pirate for Sunday school, modified for a small class and varying ages, and our kids love it. I have 2 elementary age and 3 preschoolers. Believe me, it presents a challenge!

Thank you, Susan for your encouraging words. My daughter, Emily, who is 10, is really enjoying it so far. We're very excited about it. I'll let you know how it goes.

It will be a great way to reach kids. If you give them something to come to that they can enjoy and feel loved while there, a kid will come.

Bible Club looks like it is a lot of fun for the kids. Once you get the word out, hopefully you will have a lot more from the community. We'll keep it in our prayers.
